Did You Know?

DYKA: Yamato

Did you know?  It’s Space Battleship Yamato.

Though I personally was not involved with the script for this riveting dive into anime history, I felt compelled to share it on my personal blog all the same. I will long hold this particular episode of my proudest anime-related endeavor dear (details here), as we were honored by the participation of Yamato expert August Ragone as narrator.

August is a connoisseur of classic anime and Japanese cinema in general. He is the author of Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters and regularly maintains his personal blog The Good, The Bad, and Godzilla at augustragone.blogspot.com.

Thanks again to all our contributors!
